01.29.2010: Plantsville, CT - After falling down and getting a kiss from his mother, Amy Alexander, Ryan Alexander, 6, recovers in her lap on a slope of Mount Southington. With Amy's encouragement to "get back on that horse," Ryan, who has a seizure disorder went for another run with his mom and Quinnipiac Physical Therapy student Melania Lindberg (far left). Lindberg was one of 60 volunteers who have been helping children with special needs learn adaptive skiing through the Skiers Unlimited program. Skiers Unlimited will be operating at Mount Southington every Friday from 1-3 through February.
