02.09.2010: Hartford, CT - "How do you recognize when someone you are dating is an abuser before you are involved," asked 20-year-old CCSU student Gina Ratz of a panel of four teen dating violence experts during a Forum at the University of Hartford.  The Key Issues Forum was moderated by Susan Campbell, columnist for the Hartford Courant, and featured on its panel: Dr. Jhumka Gupta, Yale School of Public Health, an expert on violence against boys and girls; William S. Pollack, author of Real Boys and director of the Centers for Men and Young Men at McLean Hospital, Boston; Iris Ruiz, assistant director, Interval House, and teen dating violence survivor; and Alisson Wood, youth program manager for a Bridgeport program that prevents teen dating violence and a survivor herself. The forum was named: "Teen Dating Violence: How to Spot It, What to Do About It."
