Why would liquor stores be labeled as an essential business? While in quarantine it is easy to understand why some people turn to substances to keep their sanity

I decided to photograph a hammock that hangs in my backyard. During this period, because it has been incredibly warm out recently, I have found myself doing all sorts of activities on it. I often swing on it while playing the guitar, reading, and even doing homework. While I photographed this hammock my dog came out to play and became the perfect background subject for me!

Empty Nest
A few years ago, I found this birds' nest on the ground behind our house. My mom wove the branch into this jade plant in my family's kitchen. I was taking a picture and realized I could shoot the arrow through the gaps in the branches. The arrow and the empty nest for me represent my experience of getting pushed out of my home at Trinity; out of the nest. I'm never going to live there again, which I was prepared for, but no one could have predicted how. Ultimately, it is for the best. I hope we successfully manage to minimize the curve.

Today I was walking into my apartment and I saw a mask just dropped in the flowers. I thought this was important because in NY the hospitals are out of mask for patients and doctors but instead there is one lying in the flowers. Foreground Picture

Wolfsberg, AUT – 03/28/2020 – The object I chose to photograph is my computer. There is not a single item that relates more to my COVID experience than my computer. Unfortunately, I have spent more time on my computer than ever before due to the immense increase in digital workload. I am, however, still trying to enjoy the warm spring days outside.
Wolfsberg, AUT – 03/28/2020 – During a challenging time like a quarantine with extreme amounts of online work, one needs to take a second from time to time to blur out what they have been focusing on too much. There is so much more to life in quarantine than just doing homework, and taking a second to focus on the cypress is just the right distraction.

I chose taking a picture of Lysol because ever since I've been home Lysol has been a big product my mom and I has used. She's always spraying stuff down to reassure there's no germs just lingering around.
As you see the Lysol in the front of the picture, you can also see the Febreze in the background. It gives you more detail as to how serious my family has been taking this.

This is my dog Tar, she is the easiest of the 3 dogs to photograph. Since the start of the quarantine I have been able to spend a lot of time with my dogs, which is nice.
This is the same scene, but with an emphasis on the background. The board games and TV are shown, which is how quarantine time has mostly been spent so far.

I took this photo of my dog Stormy. I thought the exposure and light made the photo interesting. Unfortunately I didn't get a Background photo of this scene so I photographed one of my other dogs for a background and foreground photo. I just thought I'd share this as well.
